As someone who has experienced the throbbing pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound that comes with migraines, I understand the desperate need for relief. It wasn't until I discovered yoga as a potential solution that I found hope for managing my condition.

    The day I stumbled into a yoga session seeking relief from a particularly intense migraine was the day everything changed. Through a series of gentle poses and focused breathing techniques, I experienced a level of relaxation and comfort that I had never felt before during a migraine attack. The simple act of stretching and releasing tension in my body seemed to alleviate the severity of my symptoms almost instantly. It was a revelation that sparked my journey towards exploring yoga as a tool for migraine relief.

    Understanding why yoga works for migraines became an important part of my journey. This practice involves using the thumb and ring finger to alternately close each nostril while inhaling and exhaling.
